Global Shield Security International
Global Shield Security International (“GSSI”) is a Switzerland-based private security and executive protection organization headquartered in Zurich.

Corporate Background Profile

Global Shield Security International (“GSSI”) is a Switzerland-based private security and executive protection organization headquartered in Zurich.

The company was founded by a group of former Swiss military officers, U.S. Executive Protection (EP) specialists, European corporate security advisers and risk management professionals with the objective of providing lawful, compliant and internationally standardized protection services to high-net-worth individuals, corporate executives, investors and their families.

GSSI operates under a multi-jurisdictional compliance framework, combining Swiss regulatory discipline, U.S. EP doctrine, UK licensing standards and EU private security regulations.

The organization focuses on cross-border and overseas protection assignments, rather than local guard services, and is structured to support clients who travel frequently across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and North America.

Mission and Positioning

The core mission of GSSI is to ensure that protective services are delivered:

  • Within a clear legal and regulatory framework
  • Through documented, auditable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • By properly vetted and licensed personnel only
  • With an emphasis on prevention, planning and risk management, rather than visible aggression or showmanship

GSSI positions itself as an international protection partner for clients whose business, personal or family commitments require regular travel between multiple countries and regions.

The company does not operate as a local guard company; instead, it provides structured executive protection and travel security solutions at an international level.
